For the past month, Lynn Huidekoper has been directing a leafleting campaign outside the Santa Clara County movie theaters where Michael Moore's "Sicko" has been playing. The leaflets read, "Did `Sicko' MAKE YOU SICK about our broken health care system? You can do something about it!" Each one had a postcard attached to sign and send to Sacramento, pledging support for Sen. Sheila Kuehl's single-payer health care bill, SB 840.
In the first couple of weeks the volunteers passed out 17,000, and Huidekoper had to order 17,000 more.
